How We Started
Mantra Guitar is a new-age musical brand which started in Nepal since 2017. Mantra Guitar is founded by Robin Sharma and Anup Sharma, two brothers who already had nine years of experience in running the ‘Guitar Shop’ before they started this venture. As both brothers were in the guitar business for over a decade, they were heavily disappointed on the manufacturing status of the nation. When thinking about bringing Nepali essence to the musical products that Nepalese people would love, an idea of ‘Mantra Guitar’ came to their minds.
Music To Mantra
Music is an undetachable part of daily life for every human being. The astounding music transports us away from the sadness, sometimes bringing tears to our eyes and other times bringing smiles to our faces. We believe that music is your own experience, your thoughts and your wisdom that confronts our fears and aspirations. Hence, we design and carve a masterpiece instrument that you can play to express all of it through music.
We are determined to change, connect and build art with music. Not only do we bring musical products to you, but also an inspiration to ignite changes within you and around you. We have always believed that music can make people stand in unison and can change the world around you, which will ultimately lead to positive changes inside you and allow you to find your true potential.
Our Story
The word ‘Mantra’ can be broken down into two parts: ‘man’ which means mind, and ‘tra’ which means transport or vehicle. Therefore, a mantra is an instrument of the mind, a powerful sound or vibration, that you can use to enter a deep state of meditation and to connect your mind, heart and soul as one. Our philosophy has a deep integration with the knowledge of the past to bring value in the life of the present.
Many musical instrument brands have products that have difficult product names which have no real-life meaning. As Nepal is a nation rich with culture and mythologies, dating back to 2300 B.C., we tried to infuse Nepali values into our product. We have a wide range of products which are named Avatar, Prakriti, Moksha, Astitva, Karma and many more. All of these names have deeply engraved meanings to it which most of the Hinduism and Buddhism followers abide by.
